Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Darlington - DL3
Salary: £9.90 + £150 bonus
Hours: 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: 10/05/2022

Be part of the crucial behind the scenes team in a huge annual project organising, logging, and packing Exam Papers. We are looking for well-rounded warehouse workers to take part in full time but temporary placement, with a potential 3-month extension on an alternative project.
Specific Duties Include:
- Logging large volume document intakes through handheld scanners and spreadsheets
- Opening, processing, and distributing high volumes of incoming mail daily
- Preparing bar codes for document batches to ensure tracking is logged correctly
- Guillotining large volume documents in preparation for batching
- Batching documents ready for scanning (inserting client specific headers, removing staples, inserting toggles for colour production)
- Operating large volume speed scanners
- Keying and/or indexing documentation
- Carrying out regular quality control inspections and investigating queries
You will need to be comfortable with a variety of possible roles including both Manual Handling of large boxes of documents and logging/indexing of barcodes onto spreadsheets. This is a great opportunity to learn a selection of new warehousing skills including guillotining, scanning, validation, batching, and problem solving.
