Chef - Daytime Hours only! - Fareham
An exciting opportunity has arisen at a Café in the Fareham area.
We are looking for a Chef who enjoys using fresh produce and can meet required standard.
Key information
* Salary: £11.00 per hour
* Hours: 5/7 days, alternative weekends off! Every night off! - Working 7.30am-4pm or 8.30am-5pm
* Location: Fareham
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To take responsibility for some elements of the kitchen including preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to agreed standards.
* To set and maintain standards.
* To ensure the kitchen is kept in a clean tidy and hygienic state.
* To liaise with customers, to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for.
* To respond to feedback from customers and amend menus as appropriate.
* To create a range of interesting menus for both adults and children
* Anything else reasonably requested by the management of the organisation
What you need to get the job:
* Experience as a Chef / Cook, within a similar environment would be desirable
* Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent
* Passionate about food
* Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
