Blue Arrow are recruiting for 6 high end retail assistants and a store assistant (back of house) for a brand new store on Princes Street.

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual - on a temporary role - who will be passionate about Retail and the delivery of an excellent customer experience, to support during the busy Christmas period . It's important that they are "team players". Supporting back of house when required as well as being enthusiastic brand embassadors front of house.

As a Retail Associate role you will focus on providing an excellent customer service to guests visiting the store. You will aim to exceed customer expectations, going above and beyond to create memorable experiences and add value to each visitor.

Top Accountabilities

  • Be a team player and work alongside the team to deliver a memorable experience to all customers who visit the Princes Street store.
  • Be a positive representative for the brand, developing knowledge to provide best service possible.
  • Communicating all potential Health and Safety issues to the Management Team and respect all H&S policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting with any back of house and administrative operations as required: deliveries, stock replenishment, stockroom tidying duties, stock tagging, and all stock related tasks. Ensuring stock handling areas are kept clean and orderly.
  • Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized and stocked.
  • Retrieve items from stockroom at customer request.
  • Able to work on different tasks easily - Multi-tasking.
  • Be happy to embrace seasonal tasks, like gift wrapping customer purchases for the Christmas period.
  • Strive to exceed personal and store key performance indicators to increase store performance.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Deliver customer experience to meet or exceed financial targets and service goals.
  • Maintain a high level of personal grooming and represent the brand image through customer service, attitude and behaviour.
  • Manage stock effectively, ensuring that cleaning and safety measures are met at all times. Fitting with safety and visual merchandising standards.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and dress codes.
  • Support Loss Prevention strategies and product returns. Alerts Management about any concerns immediately.
  • Filtering customer's feedback about products, promotions and displays.
  • To work collaboratively and cross-functionally, reinforcing a "one team culture".
  • Ensuring an inclusive environment for staff and customers.

Qualifications and Experience required

  • Demonstrable retail experience (1 year), top customer service and sales experience.
  • Experience in Luxury brands will be a plus.
  • Experience in high footfall retail environments.
  • Excellent customer engagement skills, communication and organizational skills.
  • Operational capabilities, being able to support Back Of House anytime.
  • Passion for Retail.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and initiative.
  • Consistently exhibits professional behaviour and punctuality.
  • Have and maintain flexible availability.
  • Must have open flexibility to work during peak traffic times including evenings, weekends and holidays.
