Deputy General Manager

£30,000 to £35,000 per annum

We are recruiting for a Deputy General Manager on behalf of our prestigious client, based in the Atherstone area. If successful, you will be playing a vital role in the operations team for a contract catering company based at an extremely popular public attraction in the North Warwickshire/West Leicestershire area.
Your overall purpose will be to deputise for the General Manager in their absence, who you work closely with to drive the business forward by developing and managing your team, providing excellent service to your customers and have astute commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Working on the floor alongside your team to coach and lead them through peak service times.
* Develop, train, and motivate your team to ensure an efficient service delivery and meet business requirements.
* Controlling budgets.
* Plan, implement and develop business growth strategy.
* Work with the rest of the operations team to meet financial targets.
* Review, implement and manage health and safety policy on site.
* Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Following HR and Organisation procedures to ensure legal compliance in all areas of the business
About you...
We are really looking for a results orientated individual who will complement our current team and help them to drive the business forward. The successful candidate will lead by example, by setting and exhibiting performance standard and act with integrity in anything they do

Essential requirements:
* 2 years minimum in a management role with P&L accountability in a high-volume foodservice or catering establishment
* Demonstrative ability of financial and commercial awareness
* Experience in leading a team of a minimum of 8
* Ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers, colleagues, and clients alike.
* Confident in using and adapting to IT systems
* Experience in managing Health and Food Safety in a food service environment
* Flexible and adaptable

Must be able to drive and have access to own transport due to location of site

Preferred requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in hospitality or management

A competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum based on experience
As the site only operates between the hours of 9am and 6pm, a great work/life balance can achieved. (With the exception of events in the summer months but these are few)
