As a primary point of contact for the Finance Team, you'll take the lead on day-to-day transactional activity and be
available to respond to queries in a helpful and informative way. This role requires a high level of attention to detail
and a Right First-Time approach. There's lots to do and the ability to balance pace and accuracy is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the finance manager with business accounting activities. This includes raising, sending and paying
invoices, reconciling company accounts and chasing late payments.
· Assist with basic administration tasks and should be on hand to answer any queries raised by employees or
external clients or providers. They will be expected to help document and maintain the business' finance
procedures, updating and implementing them wherever necessary.
· Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers, raising sales invoices and liaising with third party
providers, clients and suppliers.
Role Requirements:
· High level of accuracy and analytical skills.
· The ability to work independently or part of a team and to work to tight deadlines. · Excellent communication skills. Experience: Essential: · At least 12 months' previous experience as part of an accounts or credit control team. · Competent use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Desirable: · Background in manufacturing or construction industry Qualifications: Essential: · Studying any level AAT Desirable: · AAT level 3
