Position: Customer Service Advisor
Location: Belfast - Home Based - Must have internet connection (equipment is supplied)
Salary: £8.97 per hour
Full Time Monday to Friday 9-5pm
*No Shift work or weekends*
nidirect is the official government website for Northern Ireland citizens. nidirect aims to make it easier to access government information and services. It does this by working closely with Northern Ireland departments and other public bodies to collate key information based on users' needs.
You will be the first line of contact for anyone calling in to NI Direct.
The majority of your time will be spent supporting customers with their query and to quickly gain an understanding of their requirement and supporting them with a resolution or organising a call back from the relevant department.
You will follow a set process while communicating to the caller throughout in a clear and calm manor. You will use your communication skills to deliver great customer experience, focusing on first contact resolution.

Requirements:
Communicate in a clear and concise manner over the phone
Capability and maturity to manage challenging situations
Able to think quickly and stay calm in stressful situations
Motivated to help and support the public
Driving superior customer experience seeking first contact resolution where possible, managing customer interactions in a friendly, empathetic, efficient manner
Training:
All training is provided upon starting your new role for one week
Regular coaching and ongoing support
