Position: Inbound Customer Service Advisor
Location: Lingfield Point, Darlington, DL1
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours Monday to Friday between 08.30 and 18.00
Our client is currently looking for a number of Customer Service Advisors, the roles are on a Temporary basis, ideally transforming to Perm roles for candidates who meet performance criteria.
The primary function of the roles is to be the first point of contact and deliver a professional and high-quality customer service supporting complex Pension enquiries for Teachers throughout the UK.
Your calls will all be inbound, answering queries from Teachers, family members and nominated contacts dealing with a wide range of queries and problems.
Our client provides a full training program that will be delivered on site both class room style and on the floor.
Following the initial training, you will be provided with onsite close support to ensure you move into your role feeling confident and informed.
Once your performance becomes established in the role our client will review the possibility of a hybrid working style with the opportunity to potentially work from home for part of the time.
Respond to and resolve complex customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner and in line with associated processes and procedures
Record information on contacts as and when required and maintain accurate records and systems
Manage and protect all customer data, this includes sensitive information in accordance with the relevant legislation
Experience of handling customer contacts and resolving customer enquires
Experience of controlling calls to avoid escalations
Ability to communicate both verbally and written with empathy and sensitivity.
Ability to work as part of a team, support colleagues and promote excellent team spirit
Ability to plan and organise time and tasks effectively
Expertise in the use of a PC with experience of using office automation tools such as outlook, word, Microsoft teams and excel
Experience within a fast paced inbound customer service environment preferred
Temporary to Permanent opportunity possible for the right candidate
