Sous Chef - Hotel - Newbury - Up to £26,000 PA
I am looking for a Sous Chef to join the team at a Hotel in Newbury using fresh food. The role offers great progression and I am keen to find someone with a bit of creativity and flair. You will be working 40 hours a week and mainly straight shifts.
The Hotel is getting busier and caters for functions and meetings as well as the hotel trade.
- Lead the kitchen team in head chef's absence
- Preparing fresh food menu items and serving them to a high standard
- Come up with new ideas for the specials
- Supporting with training and development of more junior chefs
The Ideal Candidate would possess the following....
- Experience of working within a fresh food kitchen at Sous Chef level
- A "can do" attitude
- Experience in managing a kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
