My client is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Chef De Partie who share the Hotels passion for all thing's hospitality. The Role is an exciting opportunity for a Chef De Partie to join a team with a commitment to culinary excellence. This role would suit a candidate with experience in a similar position as well as a positive attitude to fit in with the company ethos.
The Hotel at its final stages of a multi-million pound revamp to make it a truly a destination hotel for anyone visiting Oxford. If you want to be part of an exciting pre-opening hotel, then this may be the role for you, as my client is looking for people to start as soon as 19th July...

Your key responsibilities as Chef De Partie include:

  • Working alongside the Head Pastry Chef & Pastry Sous Chef to help design menus and items for the restaurant, banquets, and afternoon teas
  • You will be working within a team of 6 chefs
  • Play your part in achieving the GP's required
  • Preparing for service and helping to run a smooth service
  • High volume and fast paced kitchen
  • Training and driving the junior members of the pastry team
  • Leading by example during service times to ensure consistently high standards achieved
  • Setting an example to other kitchen members to continue to strive for excellence
  • Banqueting and wedding food preparation
  • Focused on delivering superb fresh food daily
  • Working with fresh produce and creating dishes from scratch

The ideal Pastry Chef de Partie will have:

  • Experience within a high-quality hotel environment
  • Creativity
  • Quality experience in a fresh food environment
  • Experience with Rosette kitchens
  • Experienced in menu planning
  • Hard working and driven by success
  • Organised and an eye for detail
  • Flexibility
  • Experienced in banqueting
