SOUS CHEF - NEW UPMARKET FARM SHOP / RESTAURANT VENUE
£30-32K + £200/300 PER MONTH SERVICE CHARGE
ONLY OPEN 3X NIGHTS A WEEK
Sous Chef needed to join this amazing establishment at brand new upmarket Farm Shop / Restaurant establishment located near Bagshot, Surrey.
This is an incredible opportunity to join this unique venue, which has a farm shop alongside 2 dining environments both using their own farm shop produce as well as sourcing the best local suppliers to create amazing seasonal menus.
This role will be based in the main Kitchen, working under the Head Chef & Exec Chef and deputising in their absence alongside the overall running of the main kitchen. The restaurant is open for all day dining and offers extensive menu options for guests.
Only 3x nights a week - Thursday, Friday & Saturdays (10am-10pm shift wise)
Mon, Tues, Weds - open from 9am until 3:30pm
Sunday - open from 9am until 4pm
Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef
To prepare and present food to meet the required standard
Working alongside the Head Chef & Exec Chef
Menu development and new ideas
Training, managing and motivating your team
Producing the highest possible standards for your customers
Have the customer's dining experience at the forefront of your mind
To ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy
Running a section within the kitchen
What You Need To Be a Successful Sous Chef
Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or relevant kitchen experience
Solid Sous Chef experience - deputising etc
Hotel/ 5* Dining background
Previous experience in a fresh food kitchen
Willingness to learn and progress
Great communication skills and ability to work well within a team
