Sous Chef - Fresh food Pub - Exeter- £17 per hour + tips
A Chef de Partie is required for this modern pub in Exeter.
This Fresh food Pub serves modern contemporary cuisine and can get very busy during peak months.
The company pride themselves on making all the food in the kitchen, using local, organic and seasonal produce, which means the menus are subject to regular change.
5/7 days - straight shifts - 40 hrs per week - fresh food background & longevity required
Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef:
* To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required standards
* To keep all working areas clean and tidy
* To supervise and motivate the team when required
* To comply with hotel's health and safety and food safety legislations
* To monitor portion control, fresh food and dry store orders
What You Need To Be a Successful Sous Chef:
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Previous experience in a similar role
