Role Overview:
Recruiting for a Chef to join a fantastic team at an independent education site based in Alton. The main job role will be to provide wholesome food for the students using delicious fresh produce and you will also be jointly responsible for the organisation, preparation and cooking of meals to create dishes with modified textures for those with special diets.
The rota will include a combination of 7am-3pm and 11.45am-7.45pm shifts during term time with no weekend working and 10am-6pm shifts in the school and college holidays which includes weekend working. 10am-6pm shifts in the school and college holidays (13 weeks) which does includes weekend working.
Main duties and responsibilities as a chef
* Help with meal preparation
* Adhere to health & safety legislation
* Ensure high standards are kept up
* Develop under the head chef
* Make sure you adhere to dietary requirements
What you need to be successful in the chef role
* Qualified chef - either City & Guilds 706 1/2 or NVQ Level 2
* Able to work well as a team
* Great communication skills
