Chef de Partie - 4* Coastal Hotel - Newquay - £24k
Job Overview
Our client is a beautiful seaside restaurant as part of their hotel open to residents and non-residents and they are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Chef de Partie, to assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of their kitchen.
Role Responsibilities:
* Preparing food in areas of the kitchen assigned by a superior and to carry out cleaning and any reasonable duties requested.
* Managing the total running of the kitchen when required or asked to do so
* Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company's health and safety policy and procedures.
* Assisting the Head Chef in the effective and efficient organisation, supervision and control of the kitchen operation.
* Preparing, cooking and portioning of all dishes to the hotel's standards of quality and quantity.
* Reporting for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and protective clothing and adhering to specified grooming standards
How to be Successful:
* You must also be passionate about food with previous experience of working within a similarly high quality environment.
* Good salary of up to £24k
