Position: Kitchen Assistant
Venue: Prestigious Luxury Hotel - 3AA Rosette Restaurant
Location: Outskirts of Cheltenham
Salary: Up to £22,000 + Service Charge (At least an extra £4K P/Y)
Type: Permanent, 5 out of 7 days
Set in a picturesque village, this hotel is extremely popular with locals for its relaxed vibe and casual dining. They are now looking for a talented and passionate Commis Chef to join the kitchen brigade. The role is one of the most important in the kitchen, as you will be responsible for keeping our busy kitchen clean and equipment organised, working closely with the head chef to maintain standards.
Kitchen Assistant duties will include:

  • Supports the smooth running of the stewarding department, supporting the kitchen and food & beverage departments to focus on delivering all aspects of the guest food & beverage experience throughout the Hotel to the highest level
  • Works as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution
  • Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner
  • Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved
  • Collaborates with their immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture and values.
  • Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required
