- Start Time 06.30am
- Shifts 4 days on and 4 days off (will and can include weekends)
- Paid for all hours worked per day on Deployment
- Paid for 6 hours per day on Reserve
- £10 per hour
As an Mobile Testing Unit; it is your job to help facilitate the customers who enter the daily mobile sites to take a COVID 19 test. To do this efficiently you must follow guidelines and regulations that allow the test to be done smoothly and without any issues; whilst also ensuring the continuous safety of both the customer and us, the staff.
Mobilizing to temporary sites to set up and facilitate testing as instructed.
Arriving on site as early as 0615 to load up and travel to deployment.
Must be able to drive a Company Car AND the Mobile Testing Unit Transit Van
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
-Ensuring all staff comply with social distancing guidelines, maintaining a 2 metre distance from one another.
-Wearing correct PPE in zones that it is required.
-Attending daily briefings.
-Keeping work areas clean and free from any food/drink or personal belongings (bottled water is an exception).
-Managing traffic between lanes and in car parks.
-Communicating with customers and supporting them as they self test - being on call to problem solve.
-Ensure self-testing customers fully understand how to take the test and instruct them correctly so that the test is done properly and help them with any queries they may have.
-Using a mobile device to scan Track and Trace QR codes or to enter other forms of identification used to book the test. Ensuring all forms of identification are legitimate and are therefore allocated to the correct tests and customers.
-Supplying customers with their test kits.
-Communicating with customers in a professional manner, ensuring that they understand and are comfortable with the process.
-Supporting and reassuring the customers throughout the testing process.
-Assisting in test administration through recording testing numbers and times.
-Reporting any issues to Site Management.
-Storing completed test in a shaded/well ventilated space/temperature-controlled room.
-Transporting completed test kit containers to storage space.
-Being aware both in and outside of the work environment as to your exposure to COVID 19 and informing Management of any occasions that you have been in close contact with people displaying COVID 19 symptoms or are displaying symptoms yourself.
