Sous Chef - Foodie Pub - £28,000 - Woking
Our client is a fabulous foodie pub situated in a village close to Woking in Surrey and they are looking to recruit a Sous chef to help join their brigade. The restaurant boasts a superb choice of fresh, locally sourced dishes served daily. This company also offers excellent career opportunities to develop and progress. The pub is based in a stunning location with a unique twist.
It can get extremely busy during peak times so we are looking for Sous Chefs that can cook high numbers without compromising quality.
Your main responsibilities as Sous Chef will include:
" Supporting the Head chef with writing menus and developing a brigade
" Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
" Develop and train the junior members of the team
" Understand aspects of P&L and budgeting
" Support the Head Chef in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within a budget
" To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards
What you need to get the Sous Chef job
" Experience at Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie Level, ideally at least 1 Rosette standard
" Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent
" Passionate about food
" Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
" £28k + Bonus + Tips - Package of £33-34k
" Career progression within this high end pub group
