Laboratory Assistant

Blue Arrow Glasgow are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to work on a full-time basis for 6 weeks! This role will be working with one of our public sector clients in Glasgow.

You will be part of the research support team supplying key wash - up services. The ideal candidate will have experience using industrial cleaning techniques and a very good eye for detail.

Main duties:

• Providing sterilisation, biological waste disposal and media preparation
• Daily collection and maintenance of glassware including repairs
• Operation of autoclaves and industrial washing machines
• Monitoring of deionised water for washers
• Hand washing glass ware to a very high standard
• Keeping records
• Lab coat monitoring
