Postal delivery role - Blended Driving and Walking routes

We are offering great rates for van drivers that will be committed to working with us and our client Royal Mail.

Currently recruiting for postal workers to carry out both walking and driving deliveries from Dundee.

With responsibility delivering parcels and post to both commercial and residential addresses on a dedicated postal route, you will effectively sort and load parcels ready for your days work. Ensure all parcels and post are delivered to customers by van/walking and effective use of a PDA.

Competitive pay rates on offer: £11.44 per hour.

While working you will also build up holiday pay, be entitled to work wear, be paid weekly and there are other opportunities once this role finishes.

Successful candidates must be 18 and over, no more than 6 points and be able to complete a basic criminality check before starting the role.

Registrations for this role will be done online and interview slots must be booked with branch.

The start date for this contract is ASAP, Monday to Saturday. You will most often work 20-30 hours per week, however we need you to be flexible and prepared to work as needed by the client up to full time hours
Hours of work will typically be between 0900-1500 with typical shifts being around 6 hours. shifts could be longer depending on work load. Daily working week is Monday to Saturday The role is working up to 6 days with an opportunity to work overtime.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and customer focused. You must be able to work alone as well as being part of a team and working with them. Due to the nature of the role we are looking for candidates that like being outdoors in all weathers whilst maintain a professional and upbeat attitude.
