15/10/2020 - Warehouse Ops/Reach Drivers/Section Leaders

We are currently recruiting for the following roles based at Alconbury Weald:
- 20 Production Operatives
- 5 Reach Truck Drivers
- 5 Section Leaders
Successful candidates will have previous experience in their desired role and be available to start immediately, pending registration.
Production Operatives duties will include:
- Quality checking and inputting of incoming deliveries
- Waste management
- Stock counting
- Picking
- Unloading deliveries and checking stock against expected numbers
- Scanning and locating products
- Checking, recording and labelling returned stock
- Picking, scanning, labelling and palletisation of products
- Loading outbound deliveries
- Printing delivery notes and generate pallet labels
Reach truck drivers will have a valid, in-date licence and previous experience.
Section leaders will have experience in a team leader role and be able to collaborate with all operational departments.
Shifts can vary and will include:
- 5 days out of 7, including weekends, usually starting at 6am
- 4 days on, 4 days off, usually working 7am to 7.30pm
Pay rates will start at £9.07 per hour up to £11.96 per hour.
Skills/Experience
Successful candidates will:
- Have strong English and maths skills
- Have ideally worked in a similar environment
- Have good communication skills to build relationships with colleagues
- Prioritise tasks and multi-task when needed
- Work to deadlines
- Be eager to progress your own personal development
