Blue Arrow are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives/Pickers/Packers on behalf of our internationally known client in the heart of Peterborough. Both day and night shifts are available!
This central location offers easy transport links and great access from surrounding areas.
These positions are long term, with no end date (based on satisfactory performance and attendance). Our client can offer potential permanent contracts in the future, with great opportunities to develop new skills within the workplace!
PLEASE NOTE: All shifts will initially include working every weekend, with 2 days off together in the week. This may be changed to either Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday in the future.
Option 1: 06:30 - 14:30 and 14:30 - 22:30, rotating weekly.
Option 2: 14:30 - 22:30 on a permanent basis
Option 3: 18:30 - 22:30 (4 hours per shift)
Option 4: Night shift: 22:30 - 06:30
Day shift: £9.30 per hour. Pay rate will increase to £10.50 per hour once LLOP training has been completed (arranged ASAP)
Night Shift: £11.33 per hour. Pay rate will increase to £12.53 per hour once LLOP training has been completed (arranged ASAP)
The role includes, but is not limited to:
* Quality checking
* Loading items ready for delivery
* Preparing packaging for items to ensure they will remain in perfect condition
* Packing items ready for delivery to the customer
* Reporting errors and ensuring they are rectified
* Always following Health and Safety processes
* Keeping your work area clean and tidy
* Representing Blue Arrow at all times
* Pre-employment and random drug tests will be carried out in line with the client policy
* Induction must be successfully completed before a start date can be agreed
Previous warehouse experience is ideal, with strong written and spoken English due to Health and Safety requirements.
