Here at Blue Arrow Romford, we are currently recruiting experienced and available cleaners to work in Chelmsford, Essex working full time. The rota is based on 9am to 7pm.
Given the outbreak of COVID-19, we are looking for able candidates who are interested in helping our sites maintain the health and safety and the cleanliness on site. At the Romford branch we cover the whole of the Essex area for our clients, these sites can include, schools, hospitals, care homes, warehouses, offices or stores.
Your responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning kitchens and toilets, emptying and cleaning garbage bins, polishing furniture and metal fixtures, scrubbing sinks, countertops and mirrors, and stocking supplies. Depending on the site, it can include cleaning hard floors with mops or electric floor cleaners.
You'll do with routine cleaning which needs to be done on a daily or weekly basis as well as emergencies such as spills. You may also carry out regular, planned deep cleaning on a monthly basis.
Cleaners need to:
* Be physically fit
* Follow instructions and procedures
* Pay attention to detail
* Work as part of a team
* Take responsibility for their own work
* Be able to work unsupervised (once trained)
* Be organised
* Be able to work within a team
Ideally you need to be flexible to work a variety of hours as our clients do have various needs. You will need to have a enhanced DBS, either dated within a year, on the update service or be able to process one with us.
