We are looking for an Experienced Finance Manager to join our Client's hardworking team based in St Albans. The position will be responsible for all Finance Managerial duties and tasks. This is a family run business, so please only apply if you're looking to join a small/medium team.

- Location: St Albans
- Hours: Monday-Friday between 9:00am-5:00pm
- Salary: Up to £40,000

- Sales ledger - ensuring prompt and accurate sales invoicing
* Purchase ledger - supervising the accurate recording of all purchases and expenses
* Bank posting and reconciliation
* Preparation of Accruals and Prepayments
* Cash flow forecasting
* Monthly profit & loss account
* Updating balance sheet reconciliations each month
* VAT - producing quarterly VAT returns
* Project reporting - producing sales & cost reports
* Trouble shooting / dealing with customers & suppliers
* Training on our new software system provided (IQ Intact)
* Working with / managing a small team
- Proven experience of payables, receivables and general accounting processing.
- At least 5 years Finance Managerial experience
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner.
- Excellent team working
- Degree level educated (2:1 or above)
- Strong Excel skills
