BREAKFAST CHEF - 4* CONTEMPORARY HOTEL
5:30am until 2:30pm
5/7 days straight shifts
Breakfast Chef needed for a luxury, contemporary 4 red star hotel in Farnborough, boasting 169 rooms alongside a 2 rosette brasserie alongside an American/ British style restaurant with a more laid back concept menu.
The Breakfast shift is a busy one for this Hotel as during the week the Hotel is buzzing with corporate guests - you will be responsible for ensuring the Hot Buffet options such as eggs, sausages, bacon, hashbrowns, tomatoes & mushrooms are consistently stocked alongside a small & simple A La Carte breakfast menu such as omlettes, poached eggs with advocado on toast etc for guests. Timings for Breakfast are Monday to Friday 630am until 10am and weekends being 7am until 1030am
You will need to be highly organised, self-motivated and efficient to ensure a smooth service to Hotel guests.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Running a section within the kitchen
- Producing dishes to meet the required standard
- Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
- Some experience at Breakfast Chef standard
- Qualified to NVQ Level 1 and 2 or Equivalent (desirable - not essential)!
- Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress
