Blue Arrow are recruiting for a part time chef to work for one of their clients in Ipswich.
Running the clubhouse kitchen at this golf course you will be overseeing the catering operation under the guidance of the F&B Manager. This will involve, preparing and cooking the menu, ordering, cleaning and liaising with the manager to discuss future events. All the food cooked here is fresh and you will have a high level of autonomy with the menu which is currently providing classic pub style food with a Sunday lunch on offer also.
You will be primarily working on your own however you will have support at busy periods. As the only chef in the kitchen you will be responsible for all the ordering, preparation and cooking of the menu as well as maintaining a high level of food hygiene at all times.
Working across 5 days a week, ordinarily with Tuesday and Wednesday as your day off, your hours of work will be 10am - 2.30pm with additional hours on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The role is paid hourly as there are times your hours may increase across a week due to business demands.
This is a great opportunity to help enhance the reputation of the clubhouse as they also cater for local residents as well as players and can cater for upto 50 people at a time.
