BlueArrow Recruitment are pleased to be working with one of East Anglia's leading News organisations to recruit for the role of Project Administrator based in Norwich City Centre.
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to work with a market leader in a new role they have created for an upcoming project.
The client are working on a long term project to explore ways to make Online News profitable and are working with a number of stakeholders to investigate ways to reach this goal.
This position will be assisting the Project Team in a number of work streams in parallel, ensuring timelines are achieved in a timely manner and organised manner.
Applicants will need to have excellent IT skills, confident dealing with various stakeholders and have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and ideally G Suite also.
Some of the requirements for this role will include but not limited to:
* Providing project admin support to the Project Team
* Maintaining and monitoring project plans, track project progression,
* Arranging and co-ordinating project meetings, minute taking and follow up communication
* Happy working in a team environment (7 in team) and also proactive whilst working alone
This role will be an exciting and fast paced role and the successful applicant will ideally have prior Project experience, however those without are still encouraged to apply.
You will be able to show a large degree of tenacity, an eagerness to learn and be confident dealing with a range of stakeholders.
Applicants will need to have a strong personality and be able to challenge others when issues arise and also able to ask for assistance themselves if required.
Experience in similar roles is an advantage, but applicants with the right aptitude will also be considered, this role is as much about the applicant with the right attitude and personality to fit in as it is about experience!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
The job is for an initial 3 month period to begin with, with the very strong possibility that this will be extended longer term should the initial 3 months go well.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch.
Salary wise, this will be an hourly paid role, depending on experience and market rates.
Start date is envisaged to be on or around Monday 9th December, however this date can be flexible for the right applicant if necessary. Interviews will be held week commencing 2nd December.
