Caretaker

Blue Arrow are currently looking for experienced caretakers in the Birmingham area with immediate starts available.
We have a range of clients needing support in their schools to start work immediately on an ongoing basis.
Day to day duties include:
- Check health and safety checks such as fire alarms, lighting, heating, water etc
- Activate/Deactivate any alarms
- Building and equipment standard checks
- Providing support to the Site Manager where applicable
- Litter Picking and ensuring outdoor areas are kept safe and clean
- Ensuring any maintenance issues are recorded and dealt with effectively
- General moving of furniture and signing of any goods/equipment
- Open and close (key holder responsibilities)
- Support with any extra curricular activities such as Christmas fairs etc
Ideal Candidate
- A current enhanced DBS
- Previous experience as a Caretaker in a School
- Driving license (preferable not essential)
