Blue Arrow are excited to be recruiting for a passionate and talented Demi-Chef de Partie to work with our client in the heart of Edinburgh on a permanent basis. Our client is a highly reputable 5 star hotel with a rosette restaurant.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a rosette restaurant within a hotel, and have a proven track record of working with fresh produce and working successfully as part of a team.
Your duties will require you to work in the diverse kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner that serves Scottish food combined with contemporary flavours with traditional techniques using the finest quality ingredients.
As the successful candidate, you will be required to lead your section under the supervision and guidance of the Chef de Partie. You will have previous experience of at least 2 years working in a kitchen environment.
* To ensure that your section is being kept clean and tidy at all times
* Be knowledgeable in classic food preparations, dishes and cooking
* Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies for food preparation, storage and sanitation
* Ability to work on own initiative and be confident in your abilities to combat minor obstacles in your way
