Blue Arrow are excited to be recruiting for a passionate and talented Chef de Partie to work with our client who is located a 25 minute drive or bus journey away from Edinburgh city centre on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced restaurant within a hotel, whilst maintaining the highest of standards. You will have a proven track record of working with fresh produce, shellfish and running a section of the kitchen.
Your duties will be assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with all daily aspects of kitchen operations, and you will be responsible for running a particular section of the kitchen.
* To ensure that your section is being kept clean and tidy at all times
* To ensure that all dishes reach the passe and hot plate correctly garnished, portion controlled and presented to the highest standard
* To ensure that junior cooks/trainees receive the correct training and guidance
* To provide any other support as required in the kitchen
