Blue Arrow are excited to be working with our client, a boutique hotel just outside of Edinburgh, to recruit an experienced Restaurant Manager. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service in line with the hotels reputation for professional yet friendly service, and be motivated to lead the restaurant team.
Your daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Assisting in the development of food menus in all areas
* Working with suppliers to develop new wine lists, therefore wine knowledge is essential
* Reviewing spirit and cocktail offers on a regular basis
* Recruitment, training of staff and creating rotas
* Developing sales strategies for front of house areas
In order to be considered for the role, the ideal Restaurant Manager will have at least 2 years management experience in a food led environment with the ability to successfully lead a team. You will also have a knowledge of bar operations, with a good understanding of wines.
It is essential that the Restaurant Manager has an outgoing, warm and friendly personality as you will be interacting with a wide range of clientele that are both staying in the hotel and passing trade.
