Patient Transport Driver

PATIENT TRANSPORT DRIVER
Pay Rate - £10.22 - 10.54 per hour
Shifts - between 05:00 - 21:00 - Monday to Saturday (Average working hours 37.50 hrs+ per week)
Location - Newham, London
About the role

The passenger Driver is responsible for providing a safe and courteous transportation service for patients. You will be required to collect patients from their home to the required appointment.
You will need to comply with the Health and Safety instructions, and provide a friendly and warm service that will nurture positive relationships with the patients.
A company car will be provided to facilitate your daily patient transfers. You will be required to collect and return the provided company car per shift to a location in Newham, London.
Candidates will need the following;

* Clean Drivers Licence (must have 3 years' experience)
* Full work history
* Excellent customer service
* Ability to commute to Newham daily

A Successful candidate will need to meet the compliance criteria necessary for a patient transport driver, which includes;

* 3 Year work referencing check (No more than a 1 month gap)
* Enhanced DBS Check
* Occupational Health assessment
* Statutory & mandatory training
* Driving assessment & DVLA check
About you:

We are looking for candidates who can empathise with our clients, and be compassionate to their needs. Applicants require good communication skills (spoken and written). In order to proceed with your application you will need to have a valid passport and two proofs of address to verify your entitlement to work in the UK and carry out a DBS check.
Must be able to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following community procedures and guidelines and using a good judgement and common sense.
All training will be provided.
