Blue Arrow are delighted to be working with our client who is based just outside of Inverness city centre for an experienced Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in the kitchen. This is for a small but busy hotel who have a progressive approach to dining.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, passionate and creative with a determination to assist in driving the business forward.
You're responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
* Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen
* Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
* Ensure that all junior members of the brigade are trained to the standards required
* Ensuring that all food leaving the kitchen is to the expected standards
You will have a passion for providing excellent standards of food, and have a creative flair when using fresh and local produce. You will have the opportunity to have an active say in the menu and the dishes on offer.
The hotel has plans to expand and increase the capacity of the hotel, so this is an exciting time for someone to join the stable kitchen brigade.
This role is ideal looking for someone who wants to lay the foundation for a career with the company as there is great scope for progression within the business. This will suit someone who has aspirations to become a Head Chef in the future.
