Blue Arrow are recruiting for a Head Chef for a new hotel based in central Birmingham, just a few mins away from Snow Hill Station.
The hotel is due to open its doors on Sep 20th with staff training from the 9th. The successful candidate will join the training and assist with preparing for the opening.
This is an incredible opportunity to join a successful and fast expanding company with a clear vision of their future. With a number of locations across the globe, there are plans for 4 more UK sites to open before the end of this year and another 5 by end of 2020.
The hotel will cater for guests and walk in customers in their newly built 80 cover restaurant and open terrace area. Building on their roots having established themselves first in South America, there will be a Latin theme, evident in the décor and the menu.
You will have full responsibility in the kitchen. Ensuring that food is prepared and sent out at the highest standard at all times, you will train and inspire your staff to do the same. You will be commercially minded when it comes to maintaining GP, ordering stock and managing wastage. You will work alongside other management within the hotel to ensure smooth running of events.
The Ideal Candidate
- Will have proven Head chef or Sous chef experience in a similar environment
- Will be driven and ambitious
- Be creative and understand current market trends and be able to incorporate those into their menu
