2nd Chef - Leisure Complex - Eastleigh - £22,000
2nd Chef required for a leisure complex, trading times are Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm - Sunday 9am to 5pm
You must also be available in the evenings too as they will expect you to do 2 late evenings a week. (Two of Thurs/ Fri or Sat)
Role includes work at weekends, and the candidate must be available over 7 days (with 2 days off per week)
Main Duties and Responsibilities as a 2nd Chef:
To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required standards
To comply with the health and safety and food safety legislations
To monitor portion control, fresh food and dry store orders
What You Need To Be a Successful 2nd Chef:
- NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Previous experience in a similar role
