This is a great opportunity to work in a lovely environment and be part of a dedicated team of staff The position is for a Cook in Charge working 35 hours per week on a 7 day rota with alternate weekends off. You will be in charge of the kitchen with a team of 3 cooks and 2 kitchen assistants. You will have responsibility for maintaining food hygiene,COSHH, budgets, food orders, rotas and the day to day running of the catering department.You will be required to liasing with the home manager with regards to menus, special dietry needs and any hospitality events.The menus incorporate fresh food, are freshly cook each day, and are on a 3 week rota. You will have a natural flair for cooking, be organised and have experience of leading a team.
