o Carrying out basic food hygiene preparation tasks.
o Helping the chef get ready for service by preparing food. Assist in the service of takeout goods such as in-house cold sandwich, salads, confectionery, canned and bottled drinks
o Loading and unloading the dishwasher
o Work alongside others within your team to achieve a high level of standards.
o Attend training on applicable operating policies, protocols, systems and procedures, standards, and techniques.
o Ensure that company policies, processes and procedures are adhered to including government requirements.
o Follow Health and Safety paperwork such as Risk Assessments and Method Statements for catering services, including kitchen, dining room, hospitality and administrative tasks.
o Assist in performing stock monitoring and stock ordering.
o Assist in the management of food waste.
o Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
* Work in an organized manner, problem solving within the scope of the position.
* Communicate effectively in person, on telephone and by electronic means.
* A minimum of Food Safety and Hygiene level 2 is required.
