Sales and Marketing Executive - Bedford - £20,000 - £23,000(Dependant on Experience)
Blue Arrow are recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Executive on behalf of a multi-faceted enterprise that operates across the leisure, hospitality, catering theatre and facilities hire sectors.
Purpose of the Role
To build a range of commercially viable activities and services to external customers, utilising the Company's assets for both educational and financial benefits.
Main Responsibilities
To identify potential opportunities and convert them into increased business
To proactively sell business to business within the local market
To research and build relationships with new clients
To account manage existing clients to ensure they stay satisfied and positive
To attend industry functions, such as networking events, expos and provide feedback and information on market trends
To identify trendsetting ideas by researching industry related events, publications and announcements
To create materials and documents
To identify opportunities for marketing campaigns
To conduct SWOT analysis into the competition
Produce proposals, quotes and contracts to secure business in line with revenue targets
Respond to all telephone and email enquiries
Manage social media posts across all brands and develop a yearly plan
To ensure that all marketing material is up to date and is available to customers
To help out at events as required may include weekend work
To provide comprehensive analysis and reports on all events for feedback to Managers and Directors
To support the events coordinator with new sales enquires
To produce a variety of reports as required
To ensure all financial transactions are processed
To carry out project work for new opportunities
Key Skills
Experience of providing exceptional customer service
Experience in proactive sales and maximising sales
Experience of working in a similar role within Hospitality environment
Experience in managing social media content channels
Experience in successfully developing a marketing plan into a business
Ability to work as a team
Excellent communication skills
Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
Highly Organised with attention to detail
Access to own transport with the ability to travel to events and various sites
