Chef Manager - Monday to Friday - B&I
My client is a well-known contract caterer in the UK focusing on B&I, Healthcare and Education. This is an exciting opportunity to join this expanding company. You will be based in a staff restaurant, within a business and industry site in Basingstoke. As Chef Manager you will be in charge of the smooth running of the unit and leading a small catering team and daily cooking. You will be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and facilities to include all aspects of Health and Safety. The unit offers a breakfast, lunch and hospitality service.
The Role:
  • Chef Manager
  • Basingstoke
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7am-3.30pm
  • £25,000 p.a. (negotiable dependant on experience)

The Ideal Candidate:
  • A background as a Chef Manager/Head Chef within Business and Industry Catering unit
  • Quality cooking standards using fresh seasonal ingredients
  • The ability to lead by example
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Financial awareness with the ability to manage budgetary lines
  • Cash handling experience
