I am looking for a Chef de partie to work in this Wholesale Bakery and Kitchen based in Newbury, Berkshire.  
The Bakery & Kitchen is located in Newbury, West Berkshire.  Where they bake 7 days a week, employing 3 full time artisan bakers and 2 full time pastry chefs.  their breads and pastries are all made using local organic, stoneground flour and the doughs are folded and shaped by hand. 
The bread and cake range is extensive and new products are introduced monthly.  Speciality breads include sourdough, Italian rosemary and sea salt and black olive bread. They also make the more traditional English loaves such as bloomers and sandwich tin, white and wholemeal.  Some loaves are made using heritage grains such as Emmer and Khorasan, both of which are growing in popularity.
The kitchen produces sandwiches, quiches, pasties, pies, wraps, salads, soups and much more.  Ready to be delivered.
Role Summary:
To manufacture food products according to the company's standards and respecting its ethos. To understand the recipes and the procedures associated with food, cakes and bread production, including all the products in the company catalogue. To develop skills according to the development plan included in this document.  
Skills & Responsibility:
  • Availability to work 5 shifts (starting at 0600 or at 0800)
  • Availability to work on a rota basis (5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays)
  • A knowledge of cooking fresh from scrtach is a much
  • Interest in food and bread products (full training is provided as it is necessary that the team knows the product range)
