As a Finance Support Business Partner, you will drive business performance, identify and implement efficiency initiatives and opportunities. You will support strategic business planning and the production of accurate, reliable and realistic budgets, forecasts, financial statements and management reporting, as well as reviewing risks and opportunities and working closely with the Finance Operations team and the Commercial team.
This will be achieved by providing analysis and insight as well as timely and effective support and proactive challenge, communicating succinctly and clearly to non-finance colleagues at a senior level to aid decision making, as well as by building relationships and influencing, all of which will put you at the heart of the business with the focus very much on the future & creating value.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should be a fully or part qualified accountant with relevant experience in a Business Partner/Finance Manager/Management Accountant role gained in an equivalent large and complex organisation. It would be a benefit if you have previous telecoms experience however this isn't essential.
You must be a confident communicator, and have credibility to build relationships and influence at MD level.  Focused on improvements you will thrive in an environment that embraces continuous improvement and will be skilled at suggesting efficiencies, implementing improvements and joining the dots to make processes work slicker, and smarter.  An exceptional eye to detail is crucial as the accuracy of the work you will be producing is paramount.
Ideally, you should have the ability to interpret and manage multiple projects/business requirements simultaneously as well as being operationally and commercially focused and have financial modelling skills. Experience using Oracle and Hyperion would be an advantage.
