Sous Chef - Oxfordshire - Gastro Pub - £22k plus tips and benefits
My client, a beautiful 16th Century building which is still run as a traditional local pub, are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their team.
The flagstone floors, oak beams and inglenook fireplace are cosy in winter and the beautiful gardens are enjoyed on sunny days throughout the year. This pub is also famed for their selection of beers, whiskies/country wines and superb food.
As a Sous Chef you will need:

  • Have a 'Can do' attitude
The Role:
  • Day to day running of the Kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
  • Preparation and ordering of required food for the kitchen.
  • Ensuring that food is prepared and stored in accordance with food safety laws and regulations.
  • To maintain cleanliness of the kitchen at all times.
  • To ensure all chefs and kitchen porters are adequately trained on the appropriate section and informed of any relevant changes
