An exciting opportunity has arisen at this health spa for a sous chef or senior chef de partie looking to progress into a leadership role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the Salad Bar and chefs Buffet.
The position will be full time and the successful candidate will be required to work 45 hours per week. All shift patterns are calculated on a 4 week rolling rota which include bank holidays and a selection of day, evening and alternate weekend shifts
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager and Head Chef with the implementation of Health & Hygiene, Health & Safety regulations and departmental procedures.
  • To monitor and observe chefs, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service and quality and presentation of food is being maintained at all times.
  • To ensure all chefs are presentable, maintaining a high level of dress and appearance are adhered to in conjunction with departmental regulations. Please note; all chefs must be clean shaven at all times.
  • Management and maintaining all HACCAP records
  • To assist in the training and development of chefs.
  • Management of cleaning schedule
  • To assist with the ordering, controlling of stock flow, managing wastage and ensuring date rotation is adhered to.
  • To act as a vital communication link between the Food & Beverage Manager and Head Chef with chefs.
  • Adhere to food hygiene regulations at all times..
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Able to show imagination and enthusiasm for designing new and exciting hot & and cold dishes on a weekly basis.
  • To be a team player who is positive, motivating and approachable.
  • Must be organised and have the desire to achieve high standards.
  • Must hold a valid level 3 food hygiene certificate
