Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced chef to work at a recently opened restaurant. This position would be ideal for a junior chef to step into a more senior role and be eager to learn from an experienced head chef.
Paying between 18k to 20k (dependant on experience) with excellent working hours of 8am to 5pm (5 days out of 7) affording a great work life balance.
Key information:
- £18.000 to £20,000 per annum
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week between 8:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. Occasional late night weekends will be required for function or themed event.
- Location: Bromley, Kent
-Full training provided
-Tips shared between staff (TRONC system in use)

Key responsibilities include:
  • To ensure food production, standards, costs & menu planning are carried out in a timely fashion, as agreed with the Head Chef.
  • To assist the Head Chef with compiling food orders and developing new food concepts.
  • To assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Head Chef.
  • To assist in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts in the location.
  • To assist with stock taking when required.
  • To carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate.

Skills/Experience required:
  • GCSE level education or above
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
