The Role: F&B Assistant
Reporting to: Village Manager
Location: Inglewood Village, Kintbury
Hours: 40 hours a week,

The Role
  • Work to ensure our owners and customers receive outstanding, personalised service
  • You will ensure you adhere to legislative requirements such as COSHH, Fire Safety, Food safety, Health & Safety, and Safeguarding of our owners
  • Maintain high standards of comfort, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout the bistro, restaurant and customer areas of the village
  • Maintain the highest standards of dress appearance and hygiene at all times in line with Audley's uniform standards.
  • Ensure that guests receive exceptional service, well presented food, and served efficiently in a relaxed atmosphere.
  • To make sure all tables are set up properly by respecting pre-set standards.
  • To take all guests orders for food and beverage and to post them through EPOS.
  • To check if drinks have been ordered by hostess or supervisor.
  • To be aware of the Brand standards, Mystery Customer, and respect them at all times.
  • Make sure that all food and beverage items are picked up from kitchen and bar, as soon as possible.
  • To ensure all equipment put on the tables is up to standards.
  • To ensure that all bills are properly itemised and checked before the bill is presented to the guest.
  • To know regulations around the license and law, health and safety as well as the fire procedure in the village.
  • To have a good knowledge of food and beverage served in the restaurant and a fair knowledge about the other facilities in the village.
  • To be aware of special promotions and activities as well as objectives in the restaurant.
  • To make sure that the station is clean and tidy at all times and supplied with enough mise en place.
  • To clear and clean all dirty tables, and set up immediately after guest has left.
  • To report any complaint or problem that you feel unable to deal with to a supervisor or manager.
  • To be aware of the entire table plan, service periods and opening hours of the operation.
  • To be well groomed, and wear a clean uniform at all times.
  • To ensure a proper hand-over when going off duty.
  • To make sure care is taken about operating equipment and avoid breakage and loss.
  • To maximise sales by using up-selling techniques.
  • To comply with Company Health & Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures.
  • To carry out all other operation duties required by management team.
  • To attend to team meetings.
  • To co-operate with rest of the team during service period.
  • To undertake any other reasonable task/request by Management
  • To ensure that guests are given bread, butter and drinks as soon as possible.
  • To ensure good maintenance of the table throughout the meal.
  • To be attentive to guests needs.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Computer literate
  • Experience dealing with customers on a regular basis
