Chef Manager - Olney - £25,000 - £29,000 - 100% Fresh Food Restaurant

Blue Arrow Milton Keynes is currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to run a 100% fresh food venue situated in Olney. The site prides itself on working with local suppliers for maximum freshness and seasonality.

Looking for someone with first class cooking skills, experience in a similar independent fresh food site - with positive attitude and a hands on proactive manner.

The venue has a boutique feel with only 26 covers eating at one time.

Profit share scheme would be offered after passing probation period.

 

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant, pub kitchen, or relevant hospitality experience essential.
  • Cooking and Kitchen management abilities, delivering food to an agreed standard and in line with statutory and company policies.
  • Stock control management.
  • The desire and ability to be front facing with customers as well as hands-on food production in an 'open kitchen' environment.
  • To oversee staff wellbeing, equipment and machinery.
  • Enthusiastic, team orientated and the ability to successfully work with others.
  • Well organised, can prioritise and manage their own time.
  • Massively passionate about great food and great people.
  • Working 5 out of 7 days guaranteed.
  • £25,000 - £29,000 per annum.
  • Experience in costing and developing menus to budget.
  • Must be humble, respectful, and team orientated.
  • Allergens, cleanliness and always adhering to compliance.
