Head Chef - Heath & Reach - £25,000 + tips

Hours: 50 Hours p/week

Blue Arrow Milton Keynes is currently recruiting for a Head Chef or a Sous Chef looking for a new challenge. Ideally 3 years' experience within Pubs, Restaurants or hotels - working with fresh food.

The Role:

  • Working 5 out of 7 days guaranteed - with a total of 50 hours.
  • £25,000 per annum
  • Flexibility required in order to cater for booked functions.
  • Great Cook - happiest when in the kitchen cooking, training and developing menus.
  • Could be only chef on duty if quiet - happy to clean down and wash up after service.
  • Experience in costing and developing menus to budget.
  • Must be humble, respectful, and team orientated.
  • Allergens, cleanliness and always adhering to compliance.
  • Flexibility is a must, no two days would be the same.
  • Must drive due to location.

The Establishment:

  • Set in an 1834 old beamed building.
  • Wonderfully run Hotel & Gastro Pub serving typically English food. 70/30 fresh to frozen.
  • 16 room hotel, offering breakfast lunch and dinner - currently already have two               Breakfast Chefs...so no early mornings.
  • Typical service hours are 12pm - 2pm / 6pm - 9pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday 12-4pm.
  • 4 star score on the doors.
  • Currently 18 people work within the establishment - great atmosphere, all get along and socialise together - strong team, looking for the final piece of the puzzle.
