Blue Arrow are currently recruiting on behalf of our Ross-shire based client for an HR Advisor. This is a full time temporary (maternity cover) position for 9-12 months on a fixed term contract. The post holder will be responsible for providing a high quality, customer-focused professional HR service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Acting as initial point of contact for all queries on matters relating to performance,conduct,absence,management,terms and conditions of service.
  • Provision of accurate and consistent advice
  • maintenance of effective employee relations.
  • Working alongside management where needed and providing support with people management responsibilities, coaching and advising where appropriate.
  • Developing an understanding of the business including the pressures and objectives across the business as a whole.
  • Contribute to developing in implementing company policy on a variety of topics in line with employment legislation and good practice.

The ideal candidate:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Experience of providing coaching to team members
  • Understanding of employment and equality legislation
  • Effective communication skills, including influencing, listening and demonstrating clear written and verbal presentation
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills including the ability to manage a diverse and busy workload.
