An award winning performing arts school in West London is seeking to appoint a Head Chef for an immediate start. Working for one of the UK's leading contract caterers with an attractive salary of 28-30K working Monday to Friday (7-3) 37.5 per week, 44 weeks of the year. The candidate need to be innovative with menus and creative with their food in addition to being a really passionate Chef who is looking to lift the standard at the school.

Key Duties:
  • Geared towards healthy salads and food, street food, grab and go, Ottolenghi type salads etc.
  • To plan, execute and manage the production and delivery of all internal and external catering events within the Halls of Residence and to ensure they are delivered to an exceptionally high standard in line with company and client expectations and service level agreements,
  • Maintain and grow current Customer/Student base
  • To manage service and standards of both catering outlets
  • Driving Food Quality and Standards
  • Maintaining company financial procedures and audit trails,
  • Event costing and menu design in liaison with Catering Manager and Executive Chef based on individual client budgets
  • Ensure food provided is to the correct standard and as the service offer.
  • To manage the catering team to ensure that all areas are prepared and ready for the appropriate service and times to ensure that all service standards and company initiatives are met.
  • Ensure all food safety & health & safety documentation is complete, correctly recorded and is accurate.
  • Ensure all food is prepared correctly and in particular in respect of dietary requirements and allergens. Compile Allergen folders for all menus and offerings
