We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our friendly and well regarded Operations team as a Guest Service Supervisor. This role provides a fun and relaxed space with service that is welcoming and personal. Whether it's the hotel's retro and relaxed ambiance, the casually dressed professional staff or games console being played in the lounge; this is a fun place to work and a fabulous place for guests to enjoy.
You will be leading a team in a trendy lifestyle hotel with 206 rooms, 11 meeting rooms and busy town centre bar.This role is not your ordinary, it's a culture, they thrive on individuality and huge personality and love people who aren't afraid to be different. As a supervisor you are the leader of the pack. You will be focused on our food and beverage operations but have an oversight into the day to day running of the whole operation.
Previous experience in running functions is necessary

Key responsibilities
·Take full control of the running of the FO/F&B departments, at all times
·Develop and maintain resources and systems to enable the efficient running of the department, including standard documents, checklists and procedures
·Monitor and maintain expected levels of service within the department via audit checks and regular reviews on all departments
·Be competent in HR management from recruitment, appraisals, investigations/disciplinary
·Be a positive leader and ensure team engagement through clear objectives and training
·Assist management in any required tasks
·Understand and maintain standards through training plans
·Develop strong relationships with other departments and ensure that the department is running as per expectations
·Maintain health and safety standards and maintain quality in the absence of senior management
·Be fully confident in duty management, overseeing all departments and not just your own.
·Be self-teaching and self-motivating, constantly look for ways to develop your skills and seek help where required
·Work as part of a team, have fun and enjoy what you do and encourage a positive atmosphere throughout the business
·Lead from the front in customer service, your team should see you achieving the basics with ease and getting to know our customers
·Assist your management in achieving their goals and assist your colleagues in achieving theirs.
·Have previous experience in a similar sized hotel property as a supervisor or higher
·Have experience in organising and running conference and banqueting events

Hours: 40 hours per 5 night working week, (this may include weekends and Bank Holidays)
Salary: £20,000
