Chef de Partie - Gastro Pub - Exeter - £19k+


Job Overview


Our client is a beautiful waterside gastro pub in the heart of Exeter. This is a very busy kitchen, serving up to 450 covers a day, so you must be efficient, communicate well and be able to work well under pressure. We make almost everything fresh on the premises, using local ingredients. We feature lots of fresh fish from our local supplier and have a daily specials board for our chefs to create dishes and show flair. You will work between 35-40 hours per week.

The Role:
  • Running a section within the kitchen
  • Producing dishes to meet the required standard
  • Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
  • Supervising the Commis Chefs


The Requirements:
  • Experience at Chef de Partie/Commis Chef looking for a new challenge
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 or Equivalent is preferred
  • Passionate about food
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
