Assistant Manager - 4* Country Inn - Bodmin - £22k

Job Overview

Our client is a beautiful country Inn with 20 en suite bedrooms, and an award winning restaurant. They are looking for an Assistant Manager to join their senior management team to help the daily running of the Inn, and add their own personality stamp on the role with a lively and humorous attitude. You will be working up to 48 hours, 5/7 days and only including one day of the weekend. You get meals included and a monthly bonus.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist and deputise for the General Manager
  • Run shifts and be customer focused at all times
  • Develop and train the team
  • To help within the reception of the accommodation department
  • Help with ideas to drive the business forward
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience at Supervisory or Assistant Manager level
  • Ideally from a quality food led, branded pub environment
  • Have worked with systems and processes of a large company
  • Dedicated to and passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
